You know your girl is always on the Go #MoOnTheGo. However, I always make sure I try to keep my morning routine no matter where in the world I may be. Forming good skin and body-care habits takes consistency. Even taking a week off of your normal routine can cause more harm than good. Many of your favorite brands make mini size products if you’re like me and only like to take a carry-on bag. TSA only allows you liquids under a certain amount (depending what country you are in). Make sure you check online and in your local beauty stores to find some of your favorite brands in mini size. Here is my 3-step skin and body care morning routine:
Get those morning routine’s going and get your glow on!

The Junto Hotel is located in the heart of Downtown Columbus, putting you close to many attractions, restaurants, and entertainment options.
A little backstory on the hotel, per their website: “In 1727, Benjamin Franklin — you may have heard of him — founded a “club for mutual improvement,” which he styled The Junto. Ben’s club brought together people from diverse backgrounds to discuss issues and ideas of the time. The Junto hotel is a modern-day embodiment of this idea. With an emphasis on public gathering spaces, our hotel gives visitors, locals, entrepreneurs, and artists alike a place to come together, exchange ideas, and inspire one another.” You can definably feel this with the open layout in the lobby. You will see hotel guest but also members of the community dropping in to work, eat and network in the lobby. I was so impressed with the different amenities, such as their own “Gear Garage” where you could rent everything from bikes to games, while staying at the hotel. How convenient and thoughtful is that?? Let’s get into the room, however. My room was quite spacious, with an amazing bathroom (you know I love a good bathroom) - but what was the cherry on top was the private rooftop terrace my room came with! It was so big I could have hosted 8-10 people out in the terrace with me. They have a few food/beverage options for everyone to enjoy. I loved that they had a super cute full-service coffee shop in the lobby, Maudine’s. They had the most insta-worthy coffees and baked goods. It helped that they tasted great as well. The history of the name and mascot of Maudine’s - also has a cute story (I won’t ruin it for you) I hope you go explore and learn it for yourself. They have a restaurant, on the lobby level as well, Little West Tavern. The food was simply, amazing. You can see from my pictures below that it not only looks good, but it tasted even better. I also had to check out the rooftop bar, brass eye- which served crafted cocktails as well as small bites. The rooftop was a vibe. This would be the perfect place to take yourself for a cocktail or even take your boo for a romantic and cozy date night. If you find yourself in Columbia, I 100% recommend trying out the Junto hotel. Another perk is it is right across the street from the COSI museum, and they give you a free pass to go explore that as well. For more information please visit: https://thejuntohotel.com/ If you follow me on social media (if you aren’t then please do :) Then you know I am always on the GO. You can find me in another time zone quite frequently, and I always get asked about how I adjust when I come back home. Here are 5 ways to battle jet lag:
The Bengals may not be in the Super Bowl but If you're gearing up for a Super Bowl party or just want to look your best while enjoying the game, here are some beauty tips to keep in mind
Team Spirit Makeup: Show your support for your favorite team by incorporating their colors into your makeup. Experiment with eye shadows, liners, or face paint in your team's hues. Long-lasting Makeup: Since game day can be long, opt for long-lasting and waterproof makeup products to ensure your look stays fresh throughout the event. Sporty Hairstyles: Consider sporty and practical hairstyles. Braids, ponytails, or half-up, half-down styles can keep your hair out of your face and stay intact during the excitement of the game. Game-themed Nail Art: Paint your nails with football-themed nail art. You can go for simple designs like football stitches or more elaborate ones featuring your team's logo. Sunscreen Protection: If you're watching the game outdoors or in a sunny environment, don't forget to apply sunscreen to protect your skin. A tinted moisturizer with SPF can provide both protection and a natural look. Smudge-proof Mascara: Choose a smudge-proof mascara to avoid any makeup mishaps, especially if you get caught up in the excitement of the game. Hydrated Skin: Keep your skin hydrated by drinking plenty of water, especially if you're indulging in snacks and drinks during the game. Hydrated skin looks healthier and more radiant. Glowy Skin: Achieve a radiant look with a lightweight highlighter on the high points of your face. A subtle glow can enhance your natural beauty without looking too overdone. Stay Fresh with Facial Mist: Bring a facial mist to refresh your skin during breaks or halftime. It can help revive your makeup and keep your skin looking dewy. Team-themed Accessories: Complete your look with accessories like earrings, bracelets, or headbands in your team's colors. It's a subtle way to show your team spirit. Remember, the key is to have fun and enjoy the game. Whether you're a football fan or just there for the commercials, these beauty tips can help you look and feel great during the Super Bowl festivities. Valentine's Day is not just about celebrating romantic love; it's also an excellent opportunity to practice self-love and self-care. Here are some self-love tips for Valentine's Day:
Treat Yourself to a Spa Day: Set aside time for a pampering spa day at home. Run a relaxing bath, use your favorite skincare products, and maybe even give yourself a manicure or pedicure. Practice Mindfulness or Meditation: Spend some quiet time focusing on your breath or engage in a guided meditation session. Mindfulness can help calm your mind and promote self-awareness. Write Yourself a Love Letter: Take a moment to reflect on your strengths, accomplishments, and the things you love about yourself. Write a heartfelt love letter to yourself, expressing appreciation and self-acceptance. Indulge in Your Favorite Treats: Treat yourself to your favorite snacks, desserts, or a special meal. Enjoying delicious food can be a delightful way to show yourself some love. Engage in Physical Activity: Whether it's a workout, a walk, or yoga, engaging in physical activity releases endorphins and boosts your mood. Choose an activity you enjoy and make it a self-love ritual. Create a Self-Love Playlist: Compile a playlist of your favorite songs that make you feel happy and empowered. Play it throughout the day to lift your spirits. Read a Book or Watch a Movie You Love: Escape into a good book or watch a movie that brings you joy. It's a simple yet effective way to indulge in some "me time." Set Boundaries: Establish healthy boundaries that prioritize your well-being. Say no to things that drain your energy and yes to activities that bring you joy. Express Gratitude: Take a moment to reflect on the positive aspects of your life. Write down things you're grateful for, fostering a sense of appreciation and contentment. Create a Vision Board: Visualize your goals, dreams, and aspirations by creating a vision board. Use images and quotes that inspire and motivate you. Learn Something New: Invest time in learning a new skill or hobby that you've always wanted to explore. This can boost your confidence and provide a sense of accomplishment. Disconnect from Technology: Spend some time away from screens and social media. Unplugging can help you reconnect with yourself and reduce stress. Surround Yourself with Positivity: Spend time with people who uplift and support you. Positive social interactions contribute to a sense of well-being. Practice Self-Compassion: Be kind to yourself. Acknowledge your imperfections without judgment and treat yourself with the same kindness you would offer a friend. Remember, self-love is an ongoing practice, and it's important to prioritize it not just on Valentine's Day but every day. Celebrate yourself, embrace your uniqueness, and take steps to nurture your physical and emotional well-being. It’s freezing in Cincinnati, but let’s pretend we are heading somewhere with warmer weather. Perhaps you are, well here are three beauty products I make sure I pack with me for warmer climates:
