Can I be your crush this Woman Crush Wednesday?
I’ll even bring the Vive Seltzer. This is the perfect date night flavor, cherry 🍒- Vive Seltzer has no artificial sweeteners - I get really bad headaches from fake sugar. It’s full of natural fruit flavors with no icky after taste, ya’ll know what I mean. It’s also gluten free, with only 100 calories and 2 grams of carbs so it doesn’t mess up my waistline. Would you try this flavor? You can find VIVE at Kroger and more locations, visit here to find out!

Summer's best kept secret, well a late Summer's best kept secret is right in the heart of downtown Cincinnati, Ziegler Pool. Now, let me just start by saying that I LOVE to swim. My parents would drop off me and my older brothers to our local swim club growing up. I started swimming at the early age of 5 or 6 years old. My parents made sure we were all great swimmers - we all can swim well- except my Mom. She never learned to swim, but we are working on that :) I decided that since my hair has gone back to being natural this would be the perfect time to start picking up swimming again. Yes, I am a Black girl who swims - who actually gets under the water and lets her hair get wet :) When I have children I am for sure going to make sure they know how to swim as well. There has been too many deaths due to children, especially minority kids not knowing how to swim. I met up with Markus, the director of the pool - who knew me and my family from our old swim club days. It's truly a small world! Ziegler pool is making sure everyone who comes to the pool is safe and stays healthy during this crazy time! I felt completely safe after hearing and reading about all the safety precautions such as:
You can listen to more details in the video below with Markus. I encourage everyone to check out Ziegler pool this season while you still can!
This is what confidence looks like.
I’m so happy I gained my confidence back with Profile by Sanford! It has not been easy but the results have been so WORTH it. The non-scale victories have really done it for me. There have been many days where I want to give into temptation and just say, “If I have this, will it really hurt me?” But then I remember the reason why I wanted to start this journey in the first place. The food will be there, I’m not missing out on anything. A year ago I would have not put on a swimsuit, let alone take pictures in one and look at me now! You can’t keep me out of one :) It’s not just what the scale says but how I feel - and I love that about this program. You’ve watched my journey, now will you join me? For more details you’ll have to swipe up in my story or visit my Blog! As always, if you’re ready to join me on my journey, use my code MORGAN for a special discount. After a LONG day, one of my favorite things to do to relax is to take a shower and do some skincare while burning an amazing candle. I want to introduce you to a black women owned company called 15th & Elm Co.
15th & Elm Co. was birthed from a legacy to create products that enhance or maintain a person's beauty. They offer the latest essentials for beauty and relaxation such as soy candles , sugar scrubs and body butters. Each product is made with all natural ingredients. They have a very rich background and historical story as well for the business, please make sure you go read all about it. The candle featured here is, Soothe - the scent reminds me of sitting on a beach in a tropical paradise - which does not sound bad to me right now. I could smell this candle before I even opened up the shipping box. Please make sure you go support this amazing business! Rise and Shine, while you gettin’ fine...
Ladies! I know I haven’t been dropping some of my favorite skincare products lately, so I’m catching up. One of my beauty secrets is to use Jade face rollers on my face. I like putting mine in the freezer and then applying to my face. So what does a face roller do? It keeps that face tight and right, honey! They are so many benefits of using one such as:
So how do you you use it?
How often do you use it?
These roller balls come at a range of prices but honestly, I don't see much difference between a $20+ one versus a $8 one I found at TJMaxx - just make sure you stay consistent! There of course are other stone rollers you can use with different benefits. Would you like hearing about those too? Do you use a face roller? If not, would you start? |
