With the mission that women can be “powerful and pretty”, Morgan Owens introduced a plethora of chic and trendy events and products that embody this concept.
Mission.
The Morgan A. Owens brand mission is to educate, empower and elevate minority business owners, corporate women and young girls of color. The Morgan A. Owens Brand does this through workshops, speaking events, tools and books (Werkbook) fostering topics that include health and wellness, financial guidance, overcoming community/racial obstacles, brand building, economic and community empowerment.
Personal.
Morgan Angelique Owens is an entrepreneurial firebrand that has immersed herself in the art of helping women reach their highest levels of growth, profit, and success.
The Cincinnati, Ohio native and graduate of Miami University in Oxford has masterfully integrated her savvy as a Corporate executive, entrepreneur, and motivation expert to ignite passion, infuse purpose, and inspire excellence in girl bosses all over the globe. Akin to the challenges that women face with weight loss and after traveling her own roadmap of transition, Morgan launched Curvy Cardio in 2014. Specializing in impact-oriented workout experiences for curves of all sizes, Curvy Cardio is a unique, empowerment experience that feeds Morgan’s keen ability to see unconventional potential in others, utilizing her knowledge and resources to take their minds, bodies, and spirits to the next level.
Morgan has been featured extensively on national outlets like WLWT, Issues with Jan Michelle-Kearney, Cincy Chic, WCPO Insider, The Cincinnati Herald, and Black Women Do Workout. She was recognized as a 2016 Bright Awards Entrepreneurship winner, an honor for African-American millennials who have made a positive impact in the community through entrepreneurship, community service and professionalism. In addition, she’s been awarded honors by such organizations as Urban League YP of Southwestern Ohio, YMCA, YWCA, Black Career Women’s Network, Venue Magazine and Honoree 300 Black Women of Chicago. A consummate speaker at heart, Morgan’s fervor for storytelling didn’t end at Curvy Cardio. Since 2016, her acute insights and dynamic presentations have inspired thousands of women to lead authentically, work more collaboratively, and leave an impact on their customers and communities. She has lent her voice to universities and colleges, such as Yale, New Haven and Northern Kentucky, as a featured speaker; spoke at the 110th NAACP Convention, and has been a featured expert on Fox 19 News, WLWT Channel 5, The Cincinnati Herald, and Radio One.
